Quality Assessment of the Farmer’s Produced Seed Potatoes

The experiment was conducted at the research field and post graduate laboratory of Plant Pathology Department, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science Technology University, Dinajpur, during 2015 - 2016 to find out performance different source’s seed potatoes select suitable methods for improvement farm saved potatoes. In experiment, compared with certified seed, positive selection’s plot technique’s (STP) Potato Truthfully level potato as BARI Alu-8(Cardinal). maximum yield (27.72 t ha-1) recorded from which similar Certified SPT seeds. plants farmer’s (≥ 8 %, 7.33 % 4.17 %) were infected by PVY, PLRV PMV, respectively. selection technique best alternatives supplement seed.
